درود،
پست قبلی رو از توی یه فروم خارجی برداشته بودم ولی اگر جویای اصل سخن هستید،
سخن از نویسنده ی معروف james allen(1864-1912 بود که در بهترین کتابش As A Man Thinketh
ذکر شده،قسمتی از متن اصلی کتاب رو در زیر میارم :
A man's mind may be likened to a garden, which may be intelligently cultivated or
allowed to run wild;but whether cultivated or neglected , it must , and will bring
forth. If no useful seeds are put into it,then an abundance of useless weed-seeds
will fall therein, and will continue to produce their kind.o
"The mind is very much like a garden. And like a garden, either weeds or flowers will grow. But if you do not
deliberately, and consciously, and purposefully
plant flowers, weeds will grow automatically. Weeds do not need any
encouragement to grow, weeds do not need any nutrition, they do not need any
fertilizer, weeds just grow automatically...Which is to say that our minds tend
to be occupied with worries, and fears, and anxietys. Unless we consciously and
deliberately fill them with thoughts...consistent with the people we want to
be, with the characteristics, and attributes we want to have, then what we'll
have is weeds.
The reason why most people are unhappy in life is because their minds
are simply full of weeds."
